HAMID MIR

    Background
          Hamid Mir ( حامد مير‎) was born  on23 July 1966 in Pakistani.  Born in Lahore to a journalistic family, He has get Master degree in Mass Communication from University of Punjab Government College university. Hamid Mir is working on Geo TV.
 Mir start worked as journalist with  Pakistani newspaper and currently hosts the political talk show Capital Talk on the most popular TV  Geo TV. He writes columns for Urdu as well English  on newspapers, both national and international.During musharaf government Mir was baned from pakistane television and after musharaf government Zardari administration in june 2008.

Reason of Famous

Hamid Mir was famous on that time when he interview of Osama bin ladin three times after september 11. He has get the national award Hilal-i-Imtiaz.

   

Critise

   Hamid Mir has accused many times of being pro Taliban while then some people accuse him of being a CIA agent.

Attack of Hamid Mir

 Hamid Mir was injured in a gun attack on 19 April 2014 in Karachi, he was attacked by unknown men on his way to the Geo office in Karachi, and shot three times. He was rushed to a hospital and operated upon, where he was  to be out of danger. It is alleged by Mir's brother that was a plan of an agency of the government, however no reliable evidence was given to back up this claim. He was also the subject of a previous atacked on his life in November 2012, when half a kilogram of explosives was placed in his car, which was successfully defused by the pakistani bomb squad.
